Volunteers
- Volunteering in Australia or from Home
-
Lifestart volunteers are people of all ages with a variety of skills. They share a common interest, to participate and contribute to programs that help improve the lives of children and families living in poverty.
Volunteers are needed to help with administration, fundraising, and event planning. In particular we’d love to hear from people who can commit to an annual fundraiser, whatever size the event and wherever you are in the world.
- Volunteering in Vietnam
-
Where possible we endeavor to employ people from the local community, which in turn expands local skills and knowledge, therefore we do not have a requirement for short-term volunteers.
- We are currently looking for trained ESL teachers who can commit to a minimum of one month in Vietnam.
- We are also looking for someone with experience in contemporary product design who could design marketable products and train those with disabilities to produce them to a professional standard.
- Another opportunity available is for individuals with sales experience to work in the Lifestart Foundation Workshop to capacity build our Vietnamese staff.
If you are traveling to Vietnam any assistance with transporting donated goods from Australia is always greatly appreciated. Throughout the year many people donate clothing to the Lifestart Foundation, and the amount donated now greatly exceeds Karen's baggage limits. If you think you may be able to help please let us know.
