- Travel Sponsorship

At present Karen totally self-funds several annual trips to Vietnam. The work Karen needs to carry out in Vietnam is now growing at a rapid rate, therefore it is imperative for Karen to travel more frequently to Vietnam in order to oversee projects. Lifestart Foundation is looking for travel sponsorship (individual or corporate) that will allow Karen to travel to Vietnam at least four times per year.
- Transportation of donated goods: Are you traveling to Vietnam?

If you are travelling to Vietnam any assistance with transporting donated goods from Australia is always greatly appreciated. Throughout the year many people donate clothing to the Lifestart Foundation, and the amount donated now greatly exceeds Karen's baggage limits. A bag can be packed for you and left open so as you can check the contents. If you think you may be able to help please let us know.
- Fund-raising Events

Lifestart Foundation's project base is rapidly expanding. We need support from individuals or groups to hold an annual fundraising event. This can be a small or large fundraiser, anywhere in the world, it all helps!
Here are some ideas: dinner party, car wash, trivia night, fun run or walk, morning tea, BBQ, raffle etc.
- Education

- Donate-a-Desk: Cost AUD$50 each.
- Donate-a-Chair: Cost AUD$20 each.
- Donate-a-Student Pack: The student pack will consist of books, pens, pencils and rulers etc. Cost AUD$30 each.
- Old Mobile Phones

Lifestart Foundation is always in need of your old mobile phones. These phones are given to people with disabilities, giving them a much needed form of communication. Phones are also used by our volunteers in Vietnam to help keep in contact when they are in the field. When donating your phone please make sure that it is not locked and that the phone can take an International Sim card. The battery charger is also handy.
- Collection Tins

Perhaps you are able to have a collection tin at your business or place of work.
- Art and Craft for Sale

We have a number of very talented, but disadvantaged young people who we are currently supporting. A range of artwork and crafts including wood carvings and silk embroidery are for sale, or perhaps you would like to help us sell these items as a fundraising initiative.
- Silent Auction Donations

Donations are needed for the silent auction at our Annual Christmas in July Dinner Dance and Charity Auction. Auction items can include activities as well as goods.
- Wool
-
Donations of wool are gratefully received. The wool will be used by knitters in the Lifestart Foundation Workshop to make scarves, shawls and hats. Earth tone colours would be best and enough balls to make either a scarf,shawl or hat.
- New Socks

Young Nguyen makes quirky sock creatures and sock people from new socks. They sell like "hot cakes" in the Lifestart Foundation Workshop in Hoi An.
