Food Supplements

Many of the disabled people we are helping are in weak health and would benefit from food supplements to help maintain their weight. Donations in any quantities are welcomed. Two popular brands are Ensure and Sustogen.

Electronic Point of Service Hardware

As the Lifestart Foundation Workshop is expanding it is becoming more of a challenge to keep track of sales through the current paper based system. A electronic till capable of recording sales and issuing sales reports would make a massive difference to the recording system and also the ability to capacity build our disabled workshop members so they are able to make sales independently.

Travel Sponsorship

Lifestart Foundation is looking for travel sponsorship (individual or corporate) to help with the ongoing funding of Karen’s trips to Vietnam.

Button Jewellery

Especially old and unusual buttons. We will use these for jewelery making projects in the Lifestart Foundation Workshop.

Transportation of donated goods: Are you traveling to Vietnam?

If you are traveling to Vietnam any assistance with transporting donated goods from Australia is always greatly appreciated. Throughout the year many people donate clothing to the Lifestart Foundation, and the amount donated now greatly exceeds Karen’s baggage limits. A bag can be packed for you and left open so as you can check the contents. If you think you may be able to help please get in contact.

Fund-raising Events

Lifestart Foundation’s project base is rapidly expanding. Support is needed from individuals or groups to hold an annual fundraising event. This can be a small or large fundraiser, anywhere in the world, it all helps!

Ideas include a dinner party, car wash, trivia night, fun run or walk, morning tea, BBQ or raffle.

Magazines

If you are visiting the Lifestart Foundation Workshop in Hoi An please take magazines. These are used for our recycled products. In flight magazines are often the easiest to collect and bring in.

Education

You can support individual students through one year or seven year Lifestart Foundation Educational Scholarships.

Old Mobile Phones

Lifestart Foundation is always in need of your old mobile phones. These phones are given to people with disabilities, giving them a much needed form of communication. Phones are also used by volunteers in Vietnam to help keep in contact when they are in the field. When donating your phone please make sure that it is not locked and that the phone can take an international sim card. The battery charger is also handy.

Collection Tins

Perhaps you are able to have a collection tin at your business or place of work.

Silent Auction Donations

Donations are needed for the silent auction at our Annual July Dinner Dance and Charity Auction. Auction items can include activities as well as goods.
