As the Year of the Snake approached, Lifestart Foundation brought smiles to 100 underprivileged students in Quang Nam Province.

We distributed meaningful donations worth over 50 million VND (approximately AUD $3,100), aiming to help these students and their families enjoy a warmer, more joyful holiday season.

Our first initiative brought 80 gift packs to students at Kpa Kolong Primary School in Phuoc Gia Commune, Hiep Duc District. Each pack included essential household items such as rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, shampoo, detergent, toothpaste, and milkβ€”offering vital support to families in need.

Phuoc Gia Commune is one of Vietnam’s most economically disadvantaged regions. Characterized by rugged mountainous terrain, limited infrastructure, and frequent natural disasters, the area is home to many ethnic minority communities who face persistent hardships. At Kpa Kolong Primary School, the majority of its 200 students come from these communities, and the 80 students who received support were all from ethnic minority backgrounds.

The joy and excitement on the students' faces as they received their gift packs was truly heartwarming. These essential supplies will help ease the daily financial pressures on their families, allowing them to redirect their limited resources toward other basic needs.

Our Lifestart Foundation team comprised of our four staff members and one dedicated volunteer. They undertook a challenging journey through winding mountain roads to reach the remote commune. Despite the tough conditions, the experience was deeply rewarding.

We are incredibly grateful to our supporters who make these life-changing initiatives possible. Your contributions bring hope and opportunities to those who need them most.
