What We’ve Accomplished

- Through Lifestart Foundation’s Medical Education Scholarship Program, 40 highly qualified doctors, medical specialists, and healthcare technicians – along with 15 Master’s-level nurses – have successfully completed their university and postgraduate studies. Today, they are making meaningful and lasting contributions to Vietnam’s healthcare system.

- Through our Education Scholarship Program, we fully fund the academic and living expenses of hundreds of disadvantaged students. This comprehensive support includes tuition fees, supplementary classes, extracurricular activities, student funds, learning materials and supplies, as well as accommodation and living costs for those studying away from home. Transportation, meals, and other daily essentials are also covered, ensuring each student has the resources they need to succeed.
- Our annual School Supply Days equip students with essential resources – including textbooks, notebooks, advanced books, calculators, uniforms, backpacks, and stationery – to support their learning and success throughout the academic year.
- Thousands of hours have been dedicated to one-on-one mentoring for scholarship students, offering tailored support in study techniques and career guidance.
- Thanks to the dedication of our ESL volunteers, thousands of hours of English lessons have been delivered to hundreds of students – significantly enhancing their future employment and study opportunities.
- Over 45 at-risk youth mentored and sponsored into traineeships under the Jobstart program.
- The Lifestart Foundation Free School (2006-2014) catered to extremely poor, illiterate, disadvantaged, neglected and abused children from 8-20 years of age who were not able to continue in mainstream education. Many of the children have now graduated into secondary education or have found employment.
